Finishing Up!  Lecture/trunk show about design choices for edge finishes. Lecture contains over 40 quilts with ideas about added accents, facings, and edge treatments. The virtual lecture is a slide show that shows all the edge treatments and finishes up close.

Workshops

Three hour workshop teaches 6 different edge finishes that include added accents, machine binding, two-pieced binding, facings, prairie points and edge circles. I give written instructions for each technique. Students make their own examples for reference to use in binding or finishing a quilt.

Photo Inspiration!- lecture/trunk show about using photos for quilt design inspiration. Slide show will show the design process of each quilt from photo to finished quilt. I showcase the many different techniques I use to transfer an area of the photo into a section of the quilt.

Workshop

Three hour workshop teaches simple techniques to start the student on their photo inspiration journey. Students learn ways to crop or enlarge an area of a photo and how color choice can change the outcome.
